Labyrinth Available to Community
: A labyrinth has been laid in our front lot and is available to the community 24/7. In a rustic setting of natural ground covering, the stones form a pathway which can be used for prayer, meditation, and/or reflection. You are invited to come and walk anytime!
Contemplative Communion
: Each Sunday, a small group gathers at 8:00am for "Contemplative Communion", a brief service of meditation, scripture, prayer, and Holy communion.
Gospel Hour Sunday: Every 4th Sunday of the month, we have our "Gospel Hour Liturgy" where music is from the African American tradition, the global tradition, revival hymns, contemporary country gospel, or "an old time hymn". It is celebratory and upbeat. Come and bring a friend.
Advent Prayer Retreat: The Chapel will be transformed into a self-directed Retreat on Sunday, December 13, and continuing Monday through Wednesday, December 14-16 from 8:00am to 6:00pm. All are welcome!
Christmas Liturgies: Come and celebrate the birth of Jesus, the Word Made Flesh:
Sunday, December 20 at 8:00am (Contemplative Communion) and 9:30am ("Songs of Luke" Cantata); Thursday, December 24 at 5:00pm for "Carols, Communion, and Candlelight"; Friday, December 25 at 10:30am for "Christmas Contemplative Communion; Sunday, December 27 at 8:00am for Contemplative Communion and 9:30am for "Gospel Hour Liturgy of Carols Around the World"; and Sunday, January 3 at 8:00am for Contemplative Communion and 9:30am for the Second Sunday after Christmas Liturgy of Holy Communion.
"Celebrate the Joy of Christmas" Concert : "Celebrate the Joy of Christmas" Concert at 6:00pm on Saturday, December 19, with our choir, two "Dynamic Duos", and our "Terrific Trio". Refreshments and joyful Christmas Lights will follow.
"Winter Solstice": Come and enjoy lights and refreshments on December 21 at 7:00pm.
