Labyrinth Available to Community :  A labyrinth has been laid in our front lot and is available to the community 24/7. In a rustic setting of natural ground covering, the stones form a pathway which can be used for prayer, meditation, and/or reflection. You are invited to come and walk anytime!

Contemplative Communion :  Each Sunday, a small group gathers at 8:00am for "Contemplative Communion", a brief service of meditation, scripture, prayer, and Holy communion.

Friendship Lunch :  Every Wednesday we have a Friendship Lunch at noon with a standard menu of soup, bread, and a sweet. It is held at Gethsemane in the odd numbered months and next door at Mission Village Christian Fellowship in the even numbered months. It is for all but everyone is encouraged to think of someone who is having a harder time getting out...invite them to come with you!

Prayer Quilt Ministry:  Gethsemane has a vibrant Prayer Quilt Ministry. The quilters gather to sew together on the third Tuesday of each month at 10am. There also is a Saturday "Sit and Sew" most months. New quilters are welcome!

Choir is Growing:  The Choir is growing as new singers come and join. Our dynamic choir is directed by Ken Baker who sings barbershop and brings those skills to Gethsemane. They practice every Wednesday night at 6:30pm.

Serra Mesa Community Garden & Orchard is Ready!:  Gethsemane is excited to be the co-founder with Mission Village Christian Fellowship in partnership with the San Diego Food Bank. Plots are now available...check it out on the back of our lot or go to www.smcmo.org.

Serra Mesa Food Pantry:  The Serra Mesa Food Pantry located at Mission Village Christian Fellowship (next door = 2650 Melbourne) is open for donations and for those who need food. It is open every Wednesday from 10am to 2pm and on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 10am to 2pm.
