Many people along their journey of faith have encountered this question.  Can I really fit in here?  Can I really be accepted into the church as I am?

The answer to these questions is YES!  The mission of the church is to spread God's word.  God's GOOD news!  God gave his son, Jesus Christ, for our sake.  God cares!

As a member of the Lutheran church, and the wider body of Christ, we seek peace and reconciliation in Christ Jesus.  God truly is for you and not against you!  We are committed to sharing this message with you and guiding you to a deeper understanding and relationship with God.

Lutheran individuals, congregations, judicatories and social ministry organizations seek to meet human needs, advocate for dignity and justice, and work for peace and reconciliation among all people.   This ministry of service,  which is part of God's mission to the broken world, is essential to the meaning of the church.
