SUMMARY:GOD’S WORK OUR HANDS SUNDAY
DESCRIPTION:Sunday September 12 is God’s Work Our Hands Sunday. Plan on sticking around a while after worship. One of our projects will be to paint rocks to give away… at the labyrinth\, in the community\, etc. They are little messages of good news that will surprise people when they find them. The other will be hosting a food collection drive for the Serra Mesa Food Pantry. Each household will be given 2 grocery bags to fill up and flyers to distribute to your neighbors explaining what we are doing. You are requested to go to your neighbors requesting unopened non-perishables from their pantry to share. The point is to give the kinds of things we like to eat… not the leftovers of stuff we bought but never got around to eating. The added benefit is this: It will give you an excuse to talk to your neighbors!

DESCRIPTION:Contemplative Outreach North San Diego is hosting an introductory program on Centering Prayer via Zoom on Saturday\, September 11 from 9:30am to Noon. Four 90-minute follow up sessions will be held weekly\, at a time to be determined by the group. \nCentering Prayer is both a relationship with God and a discipline to foster that relationship.
