SUMMARY:An Advent Day of Silence
DESCRIPTION:The Centering Prayer group invite all of the MMACC and GLC Communities to an Advent Day of Silence on Tuesday\, November 30th from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm on our church campus. Please join us for all or part of the day for periods of Centering Prayer\, an audio teaching on Advent by James Finley\, plenty of free time for silence\, reading\, journaling or just being. The day concludes with Lectio Divina\, and Shared Faith Reflections. Please bring your own lunch and coffee\, water\, and tea will be available. Weather permitting\, we may spend a large part of the day gathered at the labyrinth or outdoors. One need not have a practice of Centering Prayer to participate. We simply ask that you pray in silence with us. Please bring a face mask and we can also socially distance as much as we like.
